Barlow Crossing is a nice little campground. It sits next to a Barlow creek which is a small but pleasant creek. Probably suited best for families with children looking for a quality tenting experience. On hot summer days, the kids can splash in the creek. By mid summer the water level drops considerably.
Sites are of good size and well separated. The short walk in site right on the creek is top notch. The only problem is that you might have neighbors camping in the dispersed camping spot across the creek. This campground will fill up quickly on the weekends, so plan ahead. They do not accept reservations. Barlow road is a dirt road at this point, but it is flat and just about any vehicle will be fine.
There are numerous dispersed camp sites along Barlow road. Many of the dispersed sites are very good. One of which has a fire pit and a picnic table.
